Living in Easenhall

Living in Easenhall Today

Easenhall is a small, friendly village with 57 houses and about 300 residents of all ages. We are 4 miles north-west of Rugby with great access to road and train links.

There is a small village hall where we have quiz nights and other village events. The Golden Lion pub and hotel provides another meeting place and sometimes we hold larger events here such as the Christmas Carol service in the function suite. Other highlights of the village social calendar include; the progressive dinner, monthly book club, Boxing Day walk, village picnic and our annual fete with its famous horticultural and dog shows. There is an active village committee.

Shops and a post office are found in Brinklow and Malt Kiln Farm Shop in Stretton under Fosse provides a great range of fresh local meat and produce.

The nearest primary school is the Revel C of E Primary School with its reception unit in Brinklow and main school in Monks Kirby. Secondary schools are found in Rugby, Lutterworth and Coventry.

There are great walks from the village, along the canal, to the marina and towards the Fosse Way. It's a lovely place to live.
